Everything's Coming to an End...

Summer's here and it seems like everything's coming to an end.
All the TV shows have finished their seasons. Some are coming back, some are really over (Prison's Break's finally done and over with. Can't believe they killed Michael off! Not fair...!)
My seniors just got their results yesterday (or was it 2 days ago. Naahh... Who cares exactly when) and they all passed their exams, meaning they're all doctors!(I think... Tak pe, at this point, they're all doctors in my eyes! =P) Wuhuu..! Congrats to them! (now I can't wait for my time to come. 3 more years InsyaAllah... 3 more loooong years... *sigh*). So, everyone was super excited and were happy for each one of them that they've all finally finished their medic student years (well, at least in med school. Learning's a lifelong thing right, so you'd never be done with learning. Ok, that sounds kindda depressing for a bit. Huhu...)
Owh, and the summer exams are all over (well, for the majority of us anyway. Some friends I have who are studying in Germany are having their exams in July---> ridiculous right?).

But, the starting of summer also marks the start of a whole lot of new things!
It's the start of the summer holidays. Everyone seems to be scrambling to travel everywhere (amidst the scare of the Swine flu). My housemates (yes, all of em!) just left for Italy, leaving lo and behold, me, alone for a whole week! And yes, I'm starting to feel bored... And yes, that's why I'm writing... (gila tak ikhlas. LOL)
Then, there's the thing about me moving and yeah, I've just only started to pack my stuff (no surprise there huh?) and seriously, I gave up about 10 minutes ago because it was too much. Haiihh... Why in the world did I buy this much stuff??
Besides moving houses and all, summer also could be the start of... Hmm... I've got nothing else. Sorry, otak lembap sikit.

Anyway, the only point of me writing this entry was to congratulate my seniors on their results. Congrats korang! Now go and take a long break or something, you guys deserve it! =)
Ok, back to watching "How I Met Your Mother"! Happy holidays everyone!

Germany and Czech Here We Come!!

Tomorrow would be the start of my Easter Trip to Germany and Czech. Yay!!
Would stop first at Munich, going to Augsburg and then on the 4th we'd go to Berlin. That would then be followed by the Prague trip on the 6th and finally back again to Augsburg on the 8th before going back to Cork on the 10th.

Saya ingin mengambil kesempatan ini, untuk meminta jasa baik everyone who's reading this to pray for our safe journey (I'm travelling from Cork with 3 of my housemates) and just pray that there won't be any drama this time around. Seriously, tak larat dah ngan drama-drama bile nak travel ni.
Pray that I won't forget my passport...
Pray that my flights won't be delayed...
Pray that none of our luggages would be stranded anywhere...
Pray that the weather would be ok...
Just pray that we go through this trip without any major glitches ok?? =P

Right... Back to packing now!!! =D

Panduan Untuk Mendapat Gigi Lurus, Menjadi Kurus & Sopan Pada Masa Yang Sama dari Taq(iah).

We housemates were having a late snack(snack apenya, fries, chips, hash browns, nasi goreng!! Hahaha...) yesterday and we got into talking about the One In A Million(OIAM) show.

I started watching it yesterday and found it to be totally herendous. Everybody's either gedik, tak de perasaan, tak best langsung nyanyi or gedik[owh, did I already mention that?? More emphasize on it. Srius! Lelaki-lelaki die pun cam gedik-gedik je. Adoi... Tak best langsung ah compared to the last season but there are quality contestants too, like Ayu and Sarah(Sarah's not really my fav judging by her personality but her voice is undeniably sedap. At least die gedik-gedik pun, suare sedap. Ni yang lain, hampeh!!!)]

Anyway, back to the story.

So, Syah was telling me why her sister was into Mark(one of the contestant of OIAM).

It was because he had a teeth just like her! Gigi kapak dekat depan or something.

Forgive me if I got the type of gigi wrong=P

The conversation leads to another conversation and by the time we knew it, we were talking about braces.

We were talking about the horrors of wearing those metals on our teeth.

The pain it would cause and for years and years that never seems to end.

And then Taq said: "Eh, kawan aku sorang ni. Dia pakai braces tau. Then, dia jadi cam tak lalu makan. So, dulu dia gemuk. Now, dia kurus!!! Pastu lepas dah bukak braces, gigi dah tak jongang. Dah ah gigi dah lawa, kurus plak tu...!! Cis...!!!"

Knowing us, the conversation of course meleret-leret...(ditambah pula dengan ketiadaan Diyana yang of course akan suruh kitaorang stop crapping before she gets her asthma attack. Huhu...)

We discussed about how it'll be if we were to wear braces now. At the age of 21(22 for Taq. She just celebrated her birthday).

Here was how the conversation went:(tak ingat sangat siapa cakap apa. So, maaf Ille and Syah atas watak kodi anda=P But, these were all that was said. Well... the censored part, that is. Huhu...)

Taq: Eh, tak nak ah pakai braces now. Nanti mulut terjojol kat depan cani...(while demonstrating how it'll look like)

Ille: Weeeiiii!!! Buruk weeeii!!

Syah: Hahahhaa...

Taq: Haa! Dah ah tu. Kena ah tutup mulut kang orang lain silau.

Dayah: Haaah... Pastu gelak kena cover-cover. Ye ah. Tak nak kasi orang tengok gigi besi tu.

Taq: (again demonstrating how it'll look like. Gelak sopan sambil cover mulut)

Ille: Weeeiiii!!! Buruk weeeii!!

Syah: Hahahha...

Dayah: Kalau gelak camtu, takpe ah gak nak cover-cover mulut. Ni try gelak cam kite. Tak nak cam bruk gila plak kan...

Taq: (yes... again demonstrating how it'll look like. Kali ni, gelak besar yang kuat gila sambil mengetuk-ngetuk meja and sambil tutup mulut)

All: Hahahhaahahahaa.....(gelak besar sambil mengetuk-ngetuk meja)

Ille: Hahha... Sopan ah sangat camtu!!

Dayah: Hahhaha... Adoi. Haaa... Tapi, memang lengkap ah pakej kalo pakai braces ni.

Taq: Tu ah! Gigi dah tak jongang, badan dah tak gemuk... Sopan plak tu!!!

Syah: Boleh jadi cara diet baru!

Dayah: Betul-betul. Cara-cara untuk dapat gigi yang cantik, jadi kurus and sopan by Kak Taqiah.

Taq: Ya! Ingin gigi yang tidak jongang, badan yang kurus dan menjadi sopan, pakailah braces.

But, we mutually agreed that it was better to be gemuk, have ugly teeth and dapat menikmati food rather than having no enjoyment for food because of the braces. Yes... We LOVE food!!! And we don't do diets. We just work out, go to the gym(well.. at least Taq and Di but afterwards, selera makan cam tinggi betul and they eat more to compensate all that was lost during the workout session. So, cam sama je kot. Haha... Except maybe gaya hidup lebih sihat=P)

So, go unruly teethed, food loving and loud girls!!!! You guys rock!!!=)

Seeking Any Single Under 30 years old Dato' With Tons of Cash & Doesn't Have a Crazy Thick 'Misai'...

Ok, so maybe getting a Dato' with the above criteria would be kind of hard.

All the Dato's I've heard of before are all above 30 years old, no make that 40 years old and they usually have this trend of keeping a thick moustache. Tak paham!

So, no thanks! Ok, being realistic, maybe just his son?? Haha...

Yesterday, Taq, Syah and I were browsing through this website that's really great if you're searching for a new house to let or to buy.

We were searching for a new house. No, not that we were thinking about moving.

Well, not this year anyway. Maybe next year? I don't know...

If we find a better house with a reasonable price.

As I was searching through the various houses to let and found nothing that could spark any interest, I then went on to search for a house to buy with the criteria we were searching for: 6 rooms and near Cork City...(bujet ade je duit nak beli)

Then, out came this humongous mansion that made me feel like I'm currently living in a scrappy box!(humans and their never ending thirst for more. Tak reti bersyukur!! Huhu...)

But, seriously!! The house is amazing...!!(ok, decor maybe kena ubah to suit our age but still...)

It has 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 dining rooms(I don't know why they need two, but one of the rooms is turned into a family room I think), a breakfast room(yes... they even have a separate room to eat your breakfast. Gila betul!!!), kitchen, utility, pantry and linen room!

And the large garden stretches all the way down to River Lee. Are you kidding me????(River Lee's the most famous river in Cork. It basically surrounds Cork.)

Tension je kteorang tengok rumah tu, no I correct myself, istana tu(istana la compared to the house me and my housemates are living in now).

And the tension was elevated upon seeing the price! 8108euro per month!

I counted how much we all had to pay and for how long.(yes... Eventhough I saw the stupidly not achievaeble price tag of the house, I still had a tiny hope that just maybe, maybe we could all think of a way to buy it. We were goofing around. One of the few ocassional meroyan sessions we have in our house. Huhu... Not seriously thinking that we're gonna be able to own it. Berharap saja~~)

Anyway, with the money MARA's giving us now, the 8108euro is not even within our grasp. Unless we included all of our batch's girls(which would total up to 11 people living in it. Takpe, besar rumah tu. Muat-muat. Haha...). Haa... Masa tu baru boleh bayar the monthly requirement for the house. But, with only 1077euro to spend on other things. So, terpakse ah makan maggi je and ask our parents to post things from Malaysia for us to use. Heater tak boleh pasang. Lampu tak boleh guna, just use candles or pelita(again, imported from Malaysia). Demi Eipka Lodge!(it's the name of the house, which would definitely be changed... Definitely.)

Haih~~ Penat dah meroyan semalam tengok rumah yang tak akan dimiliki ni...

After calculating, I found out that I have to pay 8108euro for 18 years to finally own the house.

Sambung dream about it je laa...

But, we're opening up our options to buy this house.

So, kalau ada Dato' yang maybe single or dah berkahwin and nak pasang 2, 3 or 4, sila contact Taq(iah) or Syarifah(berkorban sikit ok korang?? Demi kebahagiaan semua. That's what being a doctor and more importantly a friend is about, right ??=P)

Menurut mereka berdua, lagi tebal misai, lagi bagus(hidung jadi panjang.... In case there are people who doesn't understand what this means, it means I'm lying. Haha...)

P.S: To Desperate Housewives' fans out there, kan betul Ida yang mati!! Sad~~ Makes us realize to cherish those people we have now more...

For the more observant, you'd probably notice that those are the lyrics for Britney's new song. 'Gimme More'
What am I doing using it as the title of my post??(I'm NOT a big fan of Britney, so...)
Actually, Diyana(one of my housemates) have been wanting to learn to play this song on the guitar because according to her, she wants to learn to play more singable songs now. Erm, yeah... 'Nice' song choice!! 'It's sooo singable and not slutty'!!! (sarcasm there just in case you don't get it)
Of course, me being me, totally don't agree with it and objected her suggestion that I learn it first and teach her... I mean seriously, eventhough I've never heard of the song at that time, why would anyone want to learn how to play Britney's songs???
It's just... well, it's just not understandable.
After hearing the song and the oh-so-not attractive video clip, it confirmed what I said to Di earlier that all guitarist should just stay away from her songs(unless you're paid to play it. Haha..)

Well, lo and behold!! Yesterday, guess who started learning this song?
Yup!! Me... and Taq.
I was sceptical at first. But, then Taq made me listen to Marie Digby's version of the song. [for those of you unfamiliar with Marie Digby, she's a YouTuber who just became famous because of her great guitar playing skills(ok, at least by a woman's standard), her super-nice vocals and of course having gorgeous looks only helps it right??=) Check out her version of Umbrella that got her famous]
Her version of 'Gimme More' was waaaaay better than Britney's(like duh~~).
I was actually more interested in learning how to play the song cause the chords she used aren't the ones I'm familiar with and besides she did make the song worthwhile to learn.

So, there we were, Taq and I, learning how to play the song[wearing our telekung... Selekeh btul!! Mengaji kan lebih bagus, Taq??=P Itulah namanya meroyan. Meroyan sebab sakit hati dengan OSCE yang tak memuaskan hati!!! (OSCE is one of the exams I had this winter. It generally tests the our clinical skills, like how you deal with patients, taking their history, performing tests, knowing about diseases and their symptoms, etc.) ]

I could say we kind of succeeded in learning the song. Well, at least dapat ah chord ape yang dia guna and the strumming pattern. With more practice, we'll probably be invited to be guitarists for Chris Crocker's mini consert. Haha...(another YouTuber. But, erm... not a guitarist.)
For those of you still feeling weird as to why I spent my precious time learning this song, well take a listen to Marie Digby's version, then we'll go from there=)

In LOVE-ing Memory of Beleigh/Rosie/Baby... (repost from my old blog. been kindda lazy)

Beleigh~~~ Guess what that is.

"An Irish town??" Eeet....!!! Try again~

"Erm, your new Irish friend" Eeeet...!! Wrong~~ But, you're getting warm. Come on, one more try~

"Hmmm..... Is it.... Erm, ballet in Gaelic?? (Gaelic's the traditional language of Ireland) Eeeet....!!! Wrong again~~ It's.... the new addition to Cauliclaffter-a cat!!
(Cauliclaffter is the name of the house I'm currently living in with 5 other loony girls)

And it's pronounced like the word 'belang'(stripes); in a kelantanese slang. yeah, go figure~~

Anyway, this new (and I suspect, temporary) addition to our house started yesterday. I actually saw the cat at Brookfield(this is one of the buildings UCC owns. Specially made for health science related students) like 3 hours before it was catnapped by my housemates. After coming back home from the very confusing physio lab, I went inside the kitchen to see what Syah's cooking(nasi lemak with sambal sotong~~ wuhuu..!!).

Suddenly I saw the cat sitting quietly in a box. Taq n Ille were both busy entertaining it(maybe that's why beleigh was soo quiet. hahaha....) and they said:
"Dayah!!! tgk ni..!!!"(probably waiting for me to jump in joy or something)
I replied, after actually comprehending that there was actually a cat in the house:
"OMG!!! mana korang jumpa kucing ni?? eh, jap. ni bukan kucing yang kite tengok kat Brookfield tadi ke?? Bukan pakcik tua tu punye ke?? What is it DOING here??"
Ille then said: "Ala, die nak lintas jalan kat Brookfield tadi. Nanti kalau jadi ape2??"
"But, don't you guys have to ask permission from Mr Peter(our landlord) first?? I mean, he would like to know if there was a cat living here right??" I said, always being the one to see the situation in a holistic way (it's a more cool word instead of being the bearer of bad news, right??=P)
"Haah... nanti kalau tiba-tiba Mr Peter datang rumah, mesti ah die terkejut kalau tiba-tiba ade kucing kat rumah." tiba-tiba Nenek K_ _ _T menyampuk. (hahahaha.... sorry babe. the name's just soo funny)

And we went talking about the fate of Beleigh. Ok, personally it's not like I hate cats(although it does sound like it). It's just that they can be quite messy sometimes. I've had a history of very messy cats back at KMB. But Beleigh looks well-groomed. Her(yes, Ille even established that it's a female. I don't want even to dispute that; cause it would actually have to involve in me showing a real evidence. So, whatever... Beleigh's a female. End of that) ears, fur and paws were sooo clean. It must be somebody's. Besides, they don't really have stray cats or dogs here in Ireland. Every pet walking on the street must be someone's. But, for the time being it's ours. We've decided to wait for the owner to put up an advertisement. (Shouldn't we be doing it instead?? Hmm...)

After talking bout the fate of Beleigh, we came to discuss bout what to call her over dinner. Di probably came to the worst name ever. She wants to call it BABY. I mean, seriously?? As Taq says; "We don't call cats baby..." (yeah, now we all know what name you call ehem....!! haha...) Personally, I have a problem with that name cause firstly, it sounds totally weird to call a cat by it. Secondly, it just reminds me of someone which makes me feel nauseous (Ok, that was mean. But, that's really how i feel. So, deal with it=P). So, Beleigh it is.

So, now Beleigh is sleeping with Ille. It hasn't entered my room yet. Sorry Beleigh, but I love my private space and it takes more than your cute, innocent face to gain my trust and let you enter it. Besides, what's the point in falling for Beleigh if it's not gonna stay for a long time. Makes it harder when she's finally going to leave. Yeah, I have a twisted mindset and I'm slowly relating the story of Beleigh to some other issue. So, I'm stopping. Anyway, welcome Beleigh!! (erm, could we like split the rent to 7 now??=P)

-Current news... Beleigh has been taken back by his(yes, it's actually a male) owner, Andrew. He didn't even know it was a male and actually named him Rosie. Poor Beleigh... He must be even more confused about his sexuality. Haha... Later next week, he went wandering again only to be found 2 days later. Haish~~-
